Pearson is seeking a senior product manager/strategist to lead content standards and modernize workflows across content units. You will model taxonomies, metadata, and production platforms, guiding teams toward outcome-driven plans and practical AI integration.

You’ll collaborate with content chiefs to drive quality, scale, and measurable business impact. The role sits alongside content BU teams, shaping the content taxonomy and enabling an enterprise data spine while delivering on education

Competenze

Senior product management experience in content, publishing, or content platforms.
Hands-on ownership of content standards work: taxonomy, metadata design, quality frameworks.
Experience with authoring, production, and delivery platforms (CMS, DAM, LCMS) and at least one consolidation or migration.
Built and shipped substantive content systems with current AI tooling within 12–18 months.
Experience in SVPG-style empowered product teams focusing on outcomes.
Proven track record in continuous discovery and translating insights into content outcomes.
Experience coaching other PMs and leaders without alienation.
Strong written and verbal communication for technical and senior audiences.

Implement the standards spine inside real business unit work with global quality data standards and metadata accuracy.
Redesign and shorten production workflows with teams to remove handoffs and rework.
Partner with content leaders through strategy, planning, and craft, including challenging stakeholders.
Guide teams to high-quality plans and content strategy traceable to learner jobs and business outcomes.
Design and deliver training anchored in Pearson’s real content problems.
Contribute to content job family and career architecture for the community of practice.
Build AI fluency across the content talent base with practical, applied approaches.
Identify manual tasks worth automating and prototype automation with measurable value.
Bring evaluation, telemetry, and human-in-the-loop design to AI-assisted content generation and QA.
Keep a clear POV on where AI helps content work and where it does not.
Role model collaboration with product, engineering, design, and editorial.
