Job summary

Pearson seeks a senior product manager/strategist to standardize how content is planned, built, and measured across business units. You will collaborate with content leaders to define taxonomy, metadata, and production workflows, including AI-enabled improvements, and to guide the content strategy from MRDs to PRDs.

You will sit with content teams, coach PMs and leaders, and drive outcomes through discipline, with a focus on content quality, speed, and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Ownership of content standards work: taxonomy and metadata
• Experience with authoring, production, and delivery platforms
• Built and shipped substantive content systems as owning PM
• Experience with AI tooling in content workflows
• Strong cross-functional leadership and planning capabilities
• Proven track record in continuous discovery and outcomes-driven work

Responsibilities

• Embed standards spine inside real unit work and ensure data quality
• Redesign and shorten production workflows with stakeholders
• Partner with content leaders across Pearson brands
• Guide teams to high-quality content plans traceable to learner outcomes
• Design and deliver training anchored in real content problems
• Build AI fluency and evaluate automation opportunities
• Maintain clear POV on AI benefits and limits in content work
