Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Senior Controls Project Manager to lead complex HVAC controls projects for commercial buildings, coordinating with customers, sales, and internal teams. The role focuses on financials, administration, implementation, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The candidate will mentor team members, provide SME guidance on HVAC controls, and manage schedules, risk, and subcontractor relations across projects in a field-based, on-site setting.

Qualifications

• Combination of degree and/or 7–10 years’ experience in HVAC Controls and Project Management.
• Experience leading multi-building or complex controls projects.
• Knowledge of contract language, cost/schedule validation, and project compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support sales with quotes and proposals.
• Manage change orders and cost implications.
• Maintain customer relationships and communicate project status.
• Create and maintain project schedules with milestones and critical paths.
• Oversee project administration, contracts, safety guidelines, and documentation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams on progress and milestones.
