Job summary

KLA is seeking a skilled Installation Manager to lead the timely deployment of its semiconductor inspection and measurement systems at customer sites. You will manage a team of Product Install Engineers, coordinate resources, and ensure installations meet schedule, cost, and quality objectives.

In this role you will collaborate with customers and internal teams, present technical information, and drive continuous improvements in installation processes.

Qualifications

• BS degree or AA with applicable experience.
• 3-5 years of work experience supporting comparable capital equipment for the semiconductor industry is required.
• Project management and organizational skills.
• Written and oral communication is both clear and concise.
• Superior presentation skills.
• Good interpersonal/communication skills in understanding customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Install KLA products at customer sites on schedule and lead the installation process.
• Directly manage a team of Product Install Engineers and provide guidance.
• Interact with customers and peers to present technical information for projects.
• Support cost objectives: Install, pre-warranty, cycle time, on-time install, and quality metrics.
• Manage costs through resource deployment and cross-charge management.
• Handle escalations during installs; schedule and participate in SAMs; coordinate POA development.
• Review installation documentation and procedures for quality control.
• Prepare and present reports on program status to management; participate in Product Life Cycle reviews.
