Job summary

KLA is seeking a Product Installation Engineer to lead on-time installation and qualification of complex capital equipment at customer sites worldwide. You will represent KLA, ensuring smooth handoff, timely cycles, and successful warranty start.

Responsibilities include system installation, diagnostics, setup, and cross-functional coordination to verify performance and transfer ownership. Travel extensively is required, with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of electronics, optics, mechanical, electromechanical, and electrooptical systems.
Experience with highvacuum systems strongly preferred.
Comfort working with computer systems, operating systems, and networking (Windows, Unix, or similar).
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally, ensuring on-time completion and quality.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve installation issues by identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of complex semiconductor capital equipment.
Collaborate with regions, engineering, and customer teams to verify system performance and transfer tool ownership.
