Job summary

KLA, a leader in semiconductor inspection and metrology, seeks a Product Installation Engineer to drive ontime installation and qualification of complex capital equipment at customer sites worldwide. You will be the face of KLA, ensuring smooth handoff, warranty start, and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Electronics Technology (ASET) or equivalent work experience in supporting complex capital equipment for the semiconductor industry is required.
• Strong knowledge of electronics, optics, mechanical, electromechanical, and electrooptical systems.
• Experience with highvacuum systems strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally, ensuring installations are completed on schedule and meet quality standards
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during installation by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
• Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of highly complex semiconductor capital equipment
• Collaborate crossfunctionally with KLA regions, engineering, and customer teams to verify system performance and transfer tool ownership
• Provide clear status updates to all stakeholders throughout the installation process
• Complete installation documentation and administrative requirements accurately and on time
• Secure warranty signoff on newly installed tools
