Job summary

KLA is seeking a qualified Installation Lead to oversee the successful deployment of our products at customer sites. You will lead a team of Product Install Engineers, coordinate resources, and ensure clean handoffs to service and engineering teams.

You will interact with customers and internal peers to present status and performance, drive cost controls, and meet schedule objectives. This role requires strong communication, planning, and leadership to advance our semiconductor equipment

Qualifications

• BS degree or AA with applicable experience.
• 3-5 years of work experience supporting comparable capital equipment for the semiconductor industry is required.
• Project management and organizational skills.
• Written and oral communication is both clear and concise.
• Superior presentation skills.
• Good interpersonal/communication skills in understanding customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the timely and successful installation of KLA products at customer sites. This includes scheduling resources and managing the installation process.
• Directly manages a team of Product Install Engineers. Provides direction to employees according to policies and guidance.
• Interacts with customers and peer groups at management levels, presenting technical information on projects/schedules.
• Aims to achieve Strategic Objectives: Cost of Install, Cost of Pre-warranty, Install Cycle time, On-Time Install, OOBQ.
• Manages cost through resource deployment, Install case management, and cross-charge management.
• Manages escalations during Install activities; schedules and attends SAMs; drives POA across groups; reports status to management.
• Reviews installation documentation including checklists and procedures.
• Attends meetings and presents reports to Division and Executive Management.
• Participates in Product Life Cycle team as a core Customer Ops member.
