Job summary

KLA is seeking a Product Installation Engineer to lead on-site installation and qualification of complex semiconductor equipment at customer sites worldwide. You will be the face of KLA, ensuring timely delivery, robust performance, and high customer satisfaction.

The role requires extensive travel, strong technical knowledge across electronics, optics, and mechanical systems, and the ability to work independently while following established procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electronics, optics, mechanical, electromechanical, and electrooptical systems.
• Experience with highvacuum systems is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Windows, Unix, networking and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally, on schedule and to quality standards.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve installation issues by identifying root causes.
• Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of complex capital equipment.
• Collaborate with regions, engineering, and customers to verify performance and transfer tool ownership.
• Provide clear status updates to stakeholders throughout the installation process.
• Complete installation documentation and secure warranty signoff.
