Job summary

Ensora Health is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the design system across web and mobile, partnering with engineering to keep parity between design and code. You will drive accessibility standards, conduct user research, and contribute to product initiatives for TheraNest.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Proven experience managing and evolving a design system with components, tokens, documentation, and governance.
Strong interaction and visual design skills with attention to detail and quality.
Excellent knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA) and applying accessible design approaches.
Experience designing responsive web and native mobile experiences.
Experience partnering with product managers and cross-functional teams in iterative cycles.
Advanced Figma skills including component design, prototyping, branching, token management, and AI tool usage.
Experience collaborating with engineering on a coded component library, with understanding of HTML/CSS.
Strong communication skills for presenting and critiquing designs.
Online portfolio showing design system and product design work, with AI tool usage in workflows.

Responsibilities

Lead evolution, management, and quality of the design system across web and native mobile experiences.
Collaborate with engineering to plan, design, review, test, and release design system updates.
Ensure parity between design and code and guide teams on component behavior across responsive experiences.
Advocate for accessibility and usability, document accessibility expectations for designers and engineers.
Maintain comprehensive design system documentation including usage, specs, and accessibility standards.
Support AI readiness through documentation, tokens, guidance, and connections.
Run design system meetings, office hours, demonstrations, critiques, and governance activities.
Translate user, product, design, and technical needs into clear work items; manage backlog.
Partner with product managers as UX counterpart for TheraNest initiatives, engaging with stakeholders.
Design user-centered solutions aligned with business goals and success metrics.
Produce concepts, wireframes, flows, mockups, prototypes, specs, and deliverables.
Plan and conduct user research and usability testing with product partners.
Present work to teams and stakeholders to gain alignment and feedback.
Leverage approved AI tools to improve design, research, and documentation workflows.
Mentor designers to raise craft and system fluency.
