Job summary

Ensora Health is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape and govern the design system across web and mobile, partnering with engineering to ensure parity between design and code. You will drive accessibility, documentation, and governance while supporting TheraNest product initiatives and user research throughout iterative cycles.

The role emphasizes designing responsive experiences, mentoring peers, and shaping AI-enabled design workflows to meet business goals and user needs.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in product or UX design, including 3+ years leading design systems.
Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience managing and evolving a design system, including components, patterns, tokens, documentation, and governance.
Strong interaction and visual design skills with attention to detail.
Experience designing responsive web and native mobile experiences.
Advanced Figma skills, including tokens, prototyping, AI tools, and parity with code.
Experience partnering with engineering on a coded component library, and knowledge of HTML/CSS.
Strong communication skills, including presenting to stakeholders and conducting design critique.
Portfolio demonstrating design system and product design work (required)

Responsibilities

Lead the evolution, management, and quality of the design system across web and native mobile experiences.
Own and improve components, patterns, tokens, documentation, accessibility standards, and governance.
Collaborate with engineering to plan, design, review, test, and release design system updates.
Ensure parity between designed and coded sources for responsive experiences.
Incorporate accessibility from the start and advocate WCAG/ADA practices.
Document accessibility expectations for designers and engineers.
Maintain design system documentation and usage guidance, responsive behaviors, and implementation notes.
Support the system’s AI readiness through tokens, guidance, and workflows.
Lead design system meetings, office hours, critiques, and team rituals.
Communicate updates, gather feedback, drive adoption, and identify system needs.
Write and prioritize backlog items with product owner and engineering.
Partner with product managers as UX counterpart for TheraNest initiatives.
Design user-centered solutions aligned with business goals and metrics.
Create useful, usable, responsive, accessible experiences with thorough deliverables.
Plan and conduct user research and usability testing with product partners.
Synthesize findings into product decisions and share results with teams.
Present work to stakeholders to gather feedback and build alignment.
Follow privacy/compliance requirements (HIPAA) in design work.
Leverage approved AI tools to improve design, research, and documentation.
Mentor designers and raise design craft and system fluency across the team.
