Job summary

Ensora Health is hiring a Senior Product Designer to shape and govern our design system across web and mobile platforms. You will partner with engineering to ensure parity between design and code, improve components, and advocate for accessible, scalable design across TheraNest initiatives.

You will lead design system governance, mentor designers, and create artifacts from concepts to prototypes. This role emphasizes user-centered outcomes and collaboration with product teams in a healthcare

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product or UX design with design systems leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to evolve and govern a design system.
• Strong interaction and visual design with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of WCAG/ADA accessibility and inclusive design.
• Experience designing responsive web and native mobile apps.
• Experience partnering with PMs and cross-functional teams.
• Advanced Figma skills including tokens and AI tooling.
• Experience with HTML/CSS and coding parity between design and implementation.
• Portfolio demonstrating design system and product design work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution, management, and quality of the design system across web and native mobile experiences.
• Own and improve its components, patterns, tokens, documentation, accessibility standards, and governance practices.
• Partner with engineering to plan, design, review, test, QA, and release design system updates.
• Maintain parity between designed and coded sources across responsive experiences.
• Build accessibility into components and patterns from inception.
• Advocate WCAG/ADA-aligned practices and document accessibility expectations.
• Maintain design system documentation with usage guidance and specs.
• Support the system’s AI readiness through documentation and tokens.
• Lead design system meetings, office hours, demos, and critiques.
• Communicate updates and drive adoption and governance.
• Manage backlog items with product owner and engineering.
• Collaborate with product managers as UX partner for TheraNest initiatives.
• Design user-centric solutions aligned with business goals and metrics.
• Produce design artifacts: wireframes, mockups, prototypes, specs.
• Plan and conduct user research and usability testing.
• Synthesize findings into product decisions and communicate results.
• Present work to stakeholders to build alignment.
• Follow privacy and HIPAA requirements in design work.
• Use approved AI tools to improve workflows.
• Mentor designers and raise design fluency across the team.
