Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in product or UX design, including 3+ years leading design systems used by multiple product teams.
• Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience managing and evolving an effective design system, including components, patterns, tokens, documentation, and governance.
• Strong interaction and visual design skills, with attention to detail and quality.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and practices (WCAG/ADA) and advocating for accessible design approaches.
• Experience designing responsive web and native mobile experiences.
• Experience partnering with product managers and cross-functional teams in iterative product cycles.
• Advanced Figma skills: components, prototyping, token management, AI tools, and parity with code.

Responsabilités

• Lead the evolution, management, and quality of the design system across web and native mobile experiences.
• Partner closely with engineering to plan, design, review, test, quality-assure, and release design system updates.
• Maintain parity between designed and coded sources across responsive experiences.
• Evaluate and test design system solutions for accessibility and usability; document accessibility expectations for designers and engineers.
• Maintain design system documentation including usage guidance, responsive behaviors, specifications, and implementation considerations.
• Support the system's AI readiness through documentation, tokens, guidance, and connections.
• Lead design system governance and run regular meetings and demonstrations.
• Translate user, product, design, and technical needs into actionable work; backlogs with product owners and engineers.
• Mentor other designers to raise design craft and system fluency across the team.
