Job summary

Ensora Health is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape the systems and experiences that support our customers across web and mobile products. Your focus is evolving, quality, and adoption of our established design system, including components, tokens, documentation, accessibility standards, and governance.

You will partner with engineering to maintain alignment between designed and coded components while helping teams use the system effectively and consistently.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in product or UX design, including 3+ years leading design systems used by multiple product teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience managing and evolving an effective design system, including components, patterns, tokens, documentation, and governance.
• Strong interaction and visual design skills with attention to detail and design quality.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and practices (WCAG/ADA).
• Experience designing responsive web and native mobile experiences.
• Proven experience designing complex products in partnership with product managers and cross-functional teams in iterative cycles.
• Advanced Figma skills with tokens, prototyping, AI tools, and parity maintenance.
• Experience collaborating with engineering on a coded component library (HTML/CSS).
• A portfolio demonstrating both design system and product design work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution, management, and quality of the design system across web and native mobile experiences.
• Own and improve its components, patterns, tokens, documentation, accessibility standards, and governance practices.
• Partner with engineering to plan, design, review, test, and release design system updates.
• Maintain parity between designed and coded sources across responsive experiences.
• Build accessibility into components and patterns from the start.
• Evaluate and test design system solutions for accessibility and usability (WCAG/ADA).
• Maintain design system documentation, usage guidance, and implementation considerations.
• Support AI readiness through documentation, tokens, guidance, and connections.
• Lead design system meetings, office hours, critiques, and team rituals.
• Communicate updates, gather feedback, and drive adoption and backlog items.
• Translate user, product, design, and technical needs into actionable work.
• Partner with product managers as UX counterpart for TheraNest initiatives.
• Design user-centered solutions aligning with business goals and success metrics.
• Produce design artifacts: concepts, wireframes, flows, mockups, prototypes, specs.
• Plan and conduct user research and usability testing with product partners.
• Synthesize findings and present decisions to cross-functional teams.
