Job summary

Ensora Health is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the evolution of our design system across web and mobile, ensuring accessibility and parity with coded components. You’ll partner with engineering and product teams to plan, design, review, test, and release updates while maintaining governance.

You will mentor designers, conduct user research, and contribute to AI-enabled design workflows, shaping experiences that align with business goals and user needs.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product or UX design, incl. 3+ years leading design systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or related field.
• Proven experience evolving an effective design system with governance.
• Strong interaction and visual design with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA).
• Experience designing responsive web and native mobile experiences.
• Collaborated with product managers and engineers in iterative cycles.
• Advanced Figma skills: components, prototyping, tokens, AI tools, docs, parity with code.
• Experience partnering with engineering on a coded component library (HTML/CSS).
• Online portfolio demonstrating design system and product work (required).

Responsibilities

• Lead design system evolution across web and mobile.
• Own components, tokens, documentation, accessibility, governance.
• Collaborate with engineering to plan, design, test, and release updates.
• Ensure parity between design and code across responsive experiences.
• Build accessibility into components from the start.
• Advocate WCAG/ADA and document accessibility expectations.
• Produce design artifacts: wireframes, mockups, prototypes, specs.
• Plan and conduct user research and usability testing.
• Mentor designers and raise design craft.
• Plan for AI-readiness and governance of the system.
• Present work to stakeholders and gather feedback.
• Translate needs into actionable backlog items with product owners.
