Job summary

PEMCO, a mutual insurance company with headquarters in Seattle, seeks a Product Analyst to partner with Product Managers and Actuaries. You will analyze product performance, develop insights, and support rate/form filings and strategic initiatives.

Ideal candidates bring strong SQL, data visualization (Power BI/Tableau), and excellent communication skills to translate complex data into actionable recommendations. Occasional travel to the headquarters in Seattle may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a quantitative field (Business, Economics, Mathematics, etc.).
• Proven ability to analyze data and translate into actionable business insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with data visualization tools and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform semi-complex analyses to evaluate product performance and identify trends.
• Document system workflows and business processes.
• Contribute to strategies for profitable growth using data and qualitative insights.
• Compile materials for rate and form filings and other regulatory submissions.
• Plan and manage small-to-medium projects and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Query databases to generate scheduled and ad hoc reports.
• Demonstrate PEMCO values and brand alignment.
• Support talent acquisition and internal data-driven initiatives.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business / Economics / Mathematics or related quantitative field
