Job summary

PEMCO, a mutual insurance company based in Seattle, WA, seeks a Product Analyst to partner with Product Managers and Actuaries. The role analyzes product performance, documents workflows, and supports rate and form filings.

You will leverage SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools to deliver actionable insights, drive growth, and uphold PEMCO's values and ethics while occasionally traveling to the Seattle headquarters.

Qualifications

• MS Office proficiency: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook required.
• Experience in SQL and SQL Server required.
• Highly analytical; ability to bring disparate data together and translate into insights.
• Clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Data visualization experience with Power BI and Tableau preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory/compliance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Perform semi-complex analyses to evaluate product performance and identify trends.
• Document system workflows and business processes.
• Contribute to strategies for profitable growth using data-driven insights.
• Prepare materials for rate and form filings.
• Plan and manage small to medium-scale projects.
• Query databases to generate scheduled and ad hoc reports.
• Uphold PEMCO policies, values and code of ethics.
