Job summary

PEMCO, a mutual insurance company based in Seattle, seeks a Principal Product Analyst to drive quantitative analysis of property and casualty products and influence product strategy. You will lead complex analyses, develop data-driven insights, and present findings to senior stakeholders across Product and Actuarial teams.

You will mentor analysts, help shape data strategy, and own end-to-end product reviews including pricing and underwriting recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or quantitative field required.
• 10+ years in corporate analytics with pricing experience in insurance preferred.
• 5 years in property and casualty insurance industry required.
• Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook proficiency.
• Proficient in SQL, data visualization, and large data manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex analysis to evaluate product performance and identify trends.
• Develop data strategies and dashboards for stakeholders and executives.
• Mentor junior analysts and drive cross-functional data initiatives.
• Own end-to-end product and rating reviews with pricing recommendations.
• Collaborate with Product, Actuarial, and Data teams on initiatives.
