Job summary

Fivetran is seeking a Senior Product Analyst in the Bay Area with a strong background in product analytics and SQL‑driven insights. You’ll work on the data movement and transformation platform, building data models, dashboards, and metrics that drive adoption and retention.

You’ll partner with product leaders to turn complex data into actionable recommendations, spanning AI, BI, and compute. Hybrid work with relocation flexibility is supported.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytics, mostly in product analytics at a high-growth SaaS company.
• Strong SQL skills to clean and model data for analysis.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate analysis and validate results.
• Hands-on data modeling and dashboarding in Looker or similar BI tools.
• Proven track record turning analysis into product or business decisions.
• Clear written and verbal communication for executives and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers to understand problems and deliver regular analysis on adoption, engagement, and retention.
• Investigate trends in user behavior and identify growth opportunities to shape strategy.
• Define and monitor KPIs showing product health and company progress.
• Size impact of initiatives and help prioritize them.
• Analyze product launches and experiments to recommend next steps.
• Reduce friction in signup, activation, and adoption funnels.
• Bridge product data with revenue, sales, and support data.
• Build and maintain data models, metrics, and dashboards.
• Help new hires and partners understand data to enable data-driven decisions.
