Fivetran and dbt Labs are now one company. The Senior Product Analyst will join the Analytics team in Oakland, CA, working on a modern data stack to understand how customers adopt and use our core data movement and dbt platform products, including new AI-driven releases.

You’ll build data models, define metrics, dashboards, and insights; partner with product managers and leaders; apply AI thoughtfully to accelerate analysis while validating results; this is a full-time, hybrid role with flexible

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in analytics, mostly in product analytics, ideally at a high-growth B2B or SaaS company.
• Advanced SQL. Clean, trustworthy datasets and explain SQL clearly.
• Comfort using AI tools in analytics workflows to explore data and validate results.
• Hands-on data modeling with dbt, dashboards in Looker/Omni/Tableau, funnel/cohort analyses.
• Track record of using analysis to drive product or business decisions.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication with executives and engineers.

• Partner with product managers and leaders to understand problems and deliver regular analysis on adoption, engagement, and retention.
• Investigate trends in user behavior and product usage; shape product and growth strategy.
• Define, measure, and monitor KPIs for product health and company progress.
• Size impact of new initiatives and help prioritize them.
• Analyze launches and experiments and recommend next steps.
• Reduce friction in sign-up and activation funnels; connect product data with business data.
• Build and maintain data models, metrics, and dashboards behind work.
• Help new hires and partners understand data to drive data-informed decisions.
