Job summary

Fivetran in Oakland, CA is seeking a Senior Product Analyst to drive adoption, engagement, and retention. You will own data models, KPIs, dashboards, and analysis across AI, BI, and compute platforms, collaborating with product leaders to shape the roadmap.

You’ll work end-to-end from raw data to recommendations, using AI thoughtfully to speed insights while validating results in a modern, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytics, preferably product analytics in a high-growth SaaS company.
• Strong SQL skills to transform raw data into clean datasets.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate analysis and draft SQL.
• Experience building data models with dbt and dashboards in BI tools.
• History turning analysis into product or business decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executives and engineers.
• Experience influencing cross-functional, distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers to understand problems and solutions with data.
• Investigate trends in user behavior and shape growth strategy.
• Define and monitor KPIs for product health and company goals.
• Size and prioritize impact of new product initiatives.
• Analyze launches and experiments to guide next steps.
• Reduce friction in signup, activation, and adoption funnels.
• Combine product and business data to address revenue, sales, and support questions.
• Build and maintain data models, metrics, and dashboards.
• Mentor colleagues on data understanding and usage.
