Job summary

PEMCO is seeking a Senior Product Analyst in the Seattle area to conduct advanced quantitative analysis of property & casualty products, driving improvements in product performance and supporting PEMCO’s initiatives. You will partner with Product Managers and Actuarial teams to develop analytical strategies, and you will identify data enhancements and efficiency gains in data strategy and warehousing.

Qualifications

• S. degree or equivalent work experience in economics, business, information technology, mathematics, or related quantitative field is required
• Graduate or other professional degree or equivalent work experience is preferred
• 6+ years of experience in analytical roles with increasing scale and complexity involving pricing insurance products or similar work
• Organizes data visually and speaks clearly in group presentations to senior management
• MS Office proficiency: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Proficiency in SQL, SQL Server, and data visualization is required
• Demonstrated ability in quantitative modeling, data structures, and writing complex SQL queries
• Analytical and data-driven with ability to translate data into insights for stakeholders
• Knowledge of relevant laws, rules, and regulations is required
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, and WTW Radar is preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage large-scale complex projects with support
• Document complex system workflows and business processes
• Develop analytical strategies with Product Managers and Actuarial team
• Identify enhancements in data strategy and warehousing; consult on data fields and calculations
• Compile materials for rate filings
• Communicate analysis with stakeholders to demonstrate value
• Perform complex analysis to evaluate product performance and identify trends
• Support PEMCO's brand and values in all work
• Assist in talent identification to strengthen PEMCO team
