Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Procurement Leader to manage one of the ASDS Mechanical Procurement teams in a remote US-based role. You will drive performance metrics, ensure FAR/DFAR compliance, and coordinate with stakeholders to define scope, requirements, and terms for procurements.

You will lead negotiations, supplier performance management, and remote/onsite activities, with travel about 10% and a strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and 10+ years of experience, or an Advanced Degree with 7+ years.
• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain export authorizations; US citizenship status required.

Responsibilities

• Manage one of the ASDS Mechanical Procurement teams and establish performance metrics.
• Ensure team has knowledge and skills to perform FAR/DFAR purchasing tasks and provide on-the-job training.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, requirements, and statements of work for procurement.
• Ensure compliance with procurement processes and obtain necessary approvals before PO release.
• Engage specialists to address conflicts and supplier terms variances.
• Support supplier engagement including negotiations and on-site activities as needed.
• Travel to supply base as required (approx 10%).
