Job summary

RTX is seeking a procurement professional in the United States to lead complex contract negotiations with suppliers, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFAR and program requirements. You will develop sourcing strategies from development through production, prepare purchase orders, and manage post-award activities across multiple programs.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University degree and 5 years of experience in USG/DoD procurement, subcontracts, or Supply Chain Management or an Advanced degree in a related field and 3 years relevant experience.
• Experience negotiating complex contracts (e.g. FFP, CPFF, CPAF, IDIQ, OTA) and managing critical supplier constraints.
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR).
• Experience in developing and executing Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs), RFPs, BVSS, supplier agreements, and negotiations.
• Experience and/or knowledge of resource planning software (SAP / PRISM).

Responsibilities

• Lead complex contract negotiations for existing and new supplier partnerships.
• Develop and execute sourcing and procurement strategies from development through production.
• Prepare POs and post-award management in compliance with regulations.
• Develop alternate sourcing strategies aligned to program demand.
• Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to align roadmaps and mitigate risk.
• Perform cost and price analysis and lead negotiations.
• Establish terms for new suppliers and ensure RTX approval.
• Lead development of Master Terms Agreements and Long-Term Agreements.
