Jacobs is seeking a Senior Project Procurement Manager for Advanced Manufacturing (AM) to lead procurement on mega projects. You will plan procurement, supervise buyers and expeditors, and drive optimal supplier selections while ensuring policy compliance.

The role emphasizes strategic problem solving, team leadership, and robust subcontract management. Based in the United States with project assignments on mega AM and data-center initiatives, the Senior PPM manages complex contracts and drives

Qualifications

• 18+ years of experience in engineering and/or capital construction purchasing, contracting, expediting, supplier quality management and material management.
• Experience using MS Office tools, including intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills.
• A drive to solve complex and challenging problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead upfront Procurement planning, SMEP, purchasing and subcontract strategies for projects.
• Manage teams of buyers, expeditors, and subcontract administrators.
• Maximize efficiency of procurement efforts via critical thinking and problem solving.
• Oversee major purchases of long lead equipment and critical materials.
• Oversee subcontracting of professional services and complex construction on large projects.
• Ensure compliance with policies and administer POs/subcontracts and change orders.
• Evaluate bid proposals and negotiate favorable source selections.
• Coordinate with project and procurement teams to mitigate risks.
