Jacobs is seeking a Senior Project Procurement Manager for Advanced Manufacturing. You will lead all purchasing, subcontracting, expediting, and supplier quality activities on mega projects (TIC $750M+) and key projects for Jacobs.

The role is project-based on a US location, reporting to the Director of Supply Management of AM. You will drive procurement strategy, manage teams, and ensure seamless integration with project controls and client relations.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of experience in engineering and/or capital construction purchasing, contracting, expediting, supplier quality management and material management.
• Experience using MS Office tools, including intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
• A drive to solve complex and challenging problems.
• A desire to manage a team of procurement professionals through demonstrated inspirational leadership.

Responsabilités

• Lead upfront Procurement planning activities, SMEP, and develop project-specific templates and tools.
• Manage teams of buyers, expeditors, and subcontract admins with oversight of procurement functions.
• Maximize efficiency of procurement efforts through critical thinking and problem solving.
• Oversee major purchases of long lead equipment and high-risk materials.
• Oversee subcontracting for professional/technical services and large construction works.
• Administer POs, procurement agreements, and change orders to meet project goals.
• Review invoices and ensure compliance with PO/subcontract terms.
• Identify and mitigate PO/subcontract risks with the Procurement Services Management Team.
• Coordinate procurement planning, bidder lists, RFQs, and bid evaluations.
• Lead source selections and negotiations for POs/subcontracts.
• Act as SME for a commodity or specialized area.
