Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. is seeking a Purchasing/Procurement Manager to oversee all Center purchasing needs and staff. You will ensure timely fulfillment of requests and compliance with company and government policies, including integrity in handling data and vendor relations.

The role involves planning budgets, administering subcontracts, and leading end-to-end bidding activities from RFPs to sealed bids, with a focus on quality and cost control.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing contracts and subcontracts, including FAR compliance.
• Strong procurement knowledge with policy and procedures following company and government guidelines.
• Ability to develop vendor lists and evaluate supplier performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Center purchasing/procurement function and staff.
• Lead bidding processes (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, Sole Source, Sealed Bid).
• Prepare purchase orders, subcontracts, leases and service contracts.
• Develop and maintain vendor lists including diverse suppliers.
• Coordinate with Finance on pricing and budget control.
• Ensure compliance with FAR and Center SOPs.
