Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Senior Purchasing Agent to support growing businesses. You will liaison between Procurement and internal stakeholders, manage high‑visibility programs, and coordinate with project teams to assure timely execution of procurement plans.

Responsibilities include RFP development, vendor prequalification, contract negotiations, and post‑award implementation. Frequent travel to sites and vendors is required.

Qualifications

• Leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience sourcing and negotiating contracts with manufacturers and subcontractors.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint and Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Procurement planning during the bidding phase and contract review.
• Developing the Procurement Plan and post‑award implementation.
• Negotiate and finalize supplier agreements.
• Post‑award procurement planning and implementation across major projects.
• Read, interpret and manage contracts, drawings and schedules.
• Travel to project sites, manufacturers and vendors as needed.
