Rosendin Electric, Inc. seeks a Procurement Category Manager in the United States to lead development and implementation of procurement strategies across categories, aligning with project cost, quality, and schedule goals.

You will form and guide cross-functional teams, drive best-cost outcomes, negotiate master agreements, and monitor KPIs while maintaining safety and compliance on diverse projects.

Travel up to 10% and ESOP and benefits reflect Rosendin’s ownership culture.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years’ experience in procurement/contract or project management.
• Expertise in procurement, estimating, business, and leadership.
• Experience developing procurement category strategies.
• Experience negotiating contracts with vendors.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience creating project management plans (charter, scope, cost, schedule, milestones, risk).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Self-motivated, driven to succeed, strong critical thinker, process minded.

Responsibilities

• Develop category strategy to achieve financial value-add and improve Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Assess work streams and activities for consolidation opportunities and best practices.
• Monitor global supply market trends, pricing, supplier capacity, and product developments.
• Negotiate Master Agreements with key suppliers and measure supplier performance.
• Develop and implement metrics to monitor area of responsibility and close gaps.
• Drive innovative procurement solutions and organizational readiness change management.
