Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to lead planning, forecasting, logistics, purchasing and release of construction materials and electrical equipment. You will provide leadership and training across procurement activities on high-profile projects.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of electrical equipment and construction materials.
• Working knowledge of procurement techniques, procedures, policies and accounting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Must exhibit supervisory skills.
• Work independently with minimum supervision.
• Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle

Responsibilities

• Prepares and distributes complex and technical bid invitations or requests for proposal including logistics, warehousing, kitting, and cutting and packaging requirements.
• Processes difficult and unique purchasing transactions according to state laws, federal statutes, policies, and procedures established by Rosendin.
• Assists departments with specification development, drafts RFP.
• Reviews, analyzes and approves all purchases where award is not made to the low bidder to ensure justification exists and policy is followed.
• Be able to provide supervision to buyer / expeditor when necessary.
• Oversee execution of the purchasing buy-out.
• Maintenance of records of goods ordered and received.
