Job summary

Augmentis Group seeks a Senior Procurement Buyer to join its West Michigan team, offering full relocation and a comprehensive benefits package. The role emphasizes strategic and operational procurement, supplier performance, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced plant environment.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of procurement experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a background in manufacturing or industrial settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5–10 years of procurement experience; P2P exposure preferred.
• Technical understanding of manufacturing/industrial environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support benchmarking, should-be-cost analysis, and business case development.
• Monitor supplier performance and ASAT-related compliance.
• Develop tools/templates to streamline procurement communication and execution.
• Coordinate with suppliers on operational topics; support RFQ/RFP processes with Strategic Buyers.
• Participate in supplier meetings and coordinate with Financial Shared Services to resolve P2P issues.
• Assist buyer/planners and operations staff with PO execution and AP issue resolution.
• Interface with Shipping, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality to resolve cross-functional issues.
• Ensure adherence to global procedures and quality standards.
