Job summary

Augmentis Group seeks a Senior Procurement Buyer to join its plant-level procurement team in Michigan, with a full relocation package. The role supports strategic and operational procurement, cost savings, supplier performance, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced plant setting.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in procurement, with exposure to purchase-to-pay, and a background in manufacturing or industrial environments. Requires U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of prior procurement experience, ideally with purchase-to-pay exposure, preferred.
• Technical understanding of manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills; comfortable working directly with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Data-oriented, organized, and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• High integrity, with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
• Oracle experience a plus.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)

Responsibilities

• Support benchmarking, should-be-cost analysis, and business case development.
• Assist in planning and monitoring supplier performance, including ASAT and related compliance activities.
• Develop and maintain tools and templates to streamline team communication and procurement execution.
• Communicate with suppliers on operational topics; support negotiations and RFQ/RFP processes alongside Strategic Buyers.
• Participate in supplier meetings and liaise with Financial Shared Services to resolve purchase-to-pay issues.
• Support buyer/planners and operations staff in executing purchase orders, resolving AP issues, and supplier communications.
• Interface with Shipping, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality to resolve cross-functional issues.
• Ensure adherence to global procedures, quality standards, and departmental policies.
• Resolve issues related to direct materials, services, raw material quality, quantity verification, and delivery to support production demands
