Job summary

Augmentis Group is representing a global manufacturing organization seeking a Senior Procurement Buyer to join its plant-level procurement team. This role focuses on strategic and operational procurement, cost savings, supplier performance, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced plant environment.

Relocation to West Michigan is offered with a 30-60 day remote start. The client provides comprehensive benefits and a strong training culture to develop your procurement career.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 5–10 years procurement experience preferred, ideally with P2P exposure.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support benchmarking, should-be-cost analysis, and business case development.
• Monitor supplier performance and compliance activities.
• Develop tools/templates to streamline procurement communication and execution.
• Coordinate with suppliers on operational topics and RFQ/RFP processes.
• Interface with finance and cross-functional teams to resolve P2P issues.
• Assist buyer/planners and operations staff with PO execution and AP issues.
