Job summary

Augmentis Group is seeking a Senior Procurement Buyer in Whitehall, MI, offering a full relocation package. The role supports strategic and operational procurement in a fast-paced plant setting, with a focus on cost savings and supplier performance management.

You will interact with cross-functional teams and suppliers, manage P2P processes, and help drive continuous improvements in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5–10 years of procurement experience with P2P exposure preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Data-oriented, organized, and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Oracle experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support benchmarking, should-be-cost analysis, and business case development.
• Assist in planning and monitoring supplier performance and related compliance.
• Develop and maintain tools and templates to streamline procurement execution.
• Communicate with suppliers on operational topics; support negotiations and RFQ/RFP processes.
• Participate in supplier meetings and coordinate with Financial Shared Services to resolve purchase-to-pay issues.
• Support buyer/planners and operations staff in executing purchase orders and resolving AP issues.
