Job summary

Augmentis Group represents a global manufacturer seeking a Senior Procurement Buyer based in West Michigan (Whitehall, MI). The role supports strategic and operational procurement, with relocation assistance and a 30–60 day remote start during relocation logistics.

The position emphasizes cost-savings initiatives, supplier performance management, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 5–10 years of procurement experience preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience with purchase-to-pay processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support benchmarking and cost analyses to drive savings.
• Monitor supplier performance and compliance.
• Develop tools/templates to streamline procurement activities.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams on RFQ/RFP processes.
• Assist in resolving purchase-to-pay issues with Financial Shared Services.
• Support buyer/planners and operations in PO execution and AP resolution.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Shipping, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering and Quality.
