Job summary

Augmentis Group is seeking a Senior Procurement Buyer for a plant-level procurement role in West Michigan. The position supports strategic and operational procurement, cost savings initiatives, supplier performance, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will drive P2P processes, work with suppliers on negotiations, and coordinate with multiple internal teams to ensure timely, compliant procurement execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Supply Chain or related field.
• 5–10 years procurement experience preferred, with purchase-to-pay exposure.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Support benchmarking, should-be-cost analysis, and business-case development.
• Monitor supplier performance and ASAT/compliance activities.
• Develop tools/templates to streamline procurement communication and execution.
• Coordinate with suppliers on negotiations and RFQ/RFP processes with Strategic Buyers.
• Participate in supplier meetings and liaise with Financial Shared Services to resolve purchase-to-pay issues.
• Support buyer/planners and operations staff in POs, AP issues, and supplier communications.
• Interface with Shipping, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality to resolve cross-functional issues.
• Ensure adherence to global procedures, quality standards, and departmental policies.
• Resolve issues related to direct materials, services, and delivery to support production.
