Job summary

Lilly is seeking enthusiastic scientists and engineers to join the Process Translation and Execution team at the Lilly Medicines Foundry in Lebanon, Indiana. You will lead technology transfers from lab to cGMP production, ensuring right-first-time execution and scalable processes across modalities.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Biological Engineering, Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Experience: BS with 15+ years, or MS with 10+ years, or PhD with 4+ years in Biologics/Drug Conjugates Product/Process Development, Manufacturing Technical Services, or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transfer of API/DS processes from development to Foundry with emphasis on purification and flexibility across modalities.
• Monitor manufacturing processes, analyze data, and author technical reports and change controls.
• Support creation and review of batch records, process descriptions, and risk assessments ensuring cGMP compliance.
• Collaborate with Foundry, PRD/CMC to achieve project goals and product quality.
• Lead or assist in process investigations, assess deviations, and support CAPAs.
• Provide scientific input during audits and mentor junior staff in lab procedures and data analysis.
• Apply scientific knowledge to troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Tech Lilly, Digital Innovation, and external partners to accelerate technology transfer.
