Job summary

Lilly is seeking passionate and agile chemists to join the PTE team and help bring the Lilly Medicine Foundry’s vision to life. The role focuses on transferring bioconjugation processes to early-phase cGMP manufacturing for ADCs and related modalities, from development labs to pilot plant operations.

You will mentor junior scientists, collaborate across disciplines, maintain thorough lab notebooks, and support method development, process transfer, and analytical readiness in a dynamic

Qualifications

• BS/MS with 6+ years or PhD with 2+ years in manufacturing environments involving biochemistry, conjugation chemistry or related field.
• Experience with bioconjugation chemistry and ADCs, including antibody preparation and DAR analysis.
• Ability to independently lead tech transfer end-to-end from development to clinical manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate transfer of bioconjugation processes to pilot plant for grams-to-kilogram API quantities.
• Perform conjugation strategies (maleimide, click, enzymatic) and maintain compliance with cGMP.
• Mentor junior scientists and collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, analytical chemists, and QA.
