Job summary

Stantec’s Water Practice is seeking a Senior Process Engineer with industrial and municipal wastewater experience to join our team. The role focuses on process evaluation, design, and business development across the US and Canada, with leadership in proposal development and client interactions.

The position requires a PE license (US) and a minimum of 12 years of experience, along with strong capability in mass/energy balances, P&IDs, and process control narratives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum of 12 years of total experience.
• PE license required, with ability to obtain PE license in Minnesota within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop proposals and pursue client relationships, coordinating with engineering staff.
• Perform complex design tasks for water and wastewater projects across disciplines.
• Lead project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule management.
• Coordinate QA/QC and establish design standards and guidelines.
• Engage with clients and regulatory agencies; prepare technical reports and drawings.
• Mentor and supervise staff and coordinate project teams.
