Job summary

Stantec's Water practice is seeking a Senior Process Engineer with industrial and municipal wastewater experience to join our Minneapolis team. The role focuses on design, project execution, and business development across US markets, with opportunities to lead multidisciplinary projects.

You will network with engineering and environmental professionals, supervise project teams, and contribute to proposals, client meetings, and regulatory interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of total experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required; able to obtain MN PE within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design tasks for water and wastewater projects.
• Support proposal development and client meetings.
• Perform calculations, sketches, reports, and field work.
• Coordinate QA/QC on projects and review contractor submittals.
• Develop design standards and construction documents.
• Mentor and manage design staff and technicians.
