Job summary

Randstad USA in Fremont, CA seeks a Process Engineer III to lead SPC for key products and boost first-pass yields. You will streamline processes, drive cost savings, and apply chemical synthesis and batch operation expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) in chemical manufacturing.
• Experience with chemical synthesis and batch operations is highly desired.
• Bachelors degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee critical processes, lead daily production monitoring (quality, cycle time, EHS, standards), and track SPC activities.
• Investigate product failures and out-of-control events, manage NCMRs to timely closure, and execute corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Lead process engineering capital projects, resolve equipment issues, and collaborate with Maintenance/Production using MOC protocols.
• Author and modify Work Instructions; support pilot-to-full-scale manufacturing via batch validation, documentation, and operator training.
• Manage the equipment/instrumentation calibration program and serve as secondary support for EHS activities (waste shipments, permits, audits, system validation).
