Job summary

Element Solutions is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize operations under the Engineering Manager, focusing on SPC for critical processes and improving first-pass yields. You will drive cost reductions, write work instructions, and support pilot-to-full-scale transfers in a fast-paced electronics materials environment.

You will work closely with Maintenance, Production, and EHS teams to ensure process safety and quality, while developing capital project plans and leading troubleshooting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• 5–8 years in a process engineering role preferred.
• 3+ years in chemical synthesis, preferably batch operation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor processes and oversee SPC activities for critical processes.
• Daily production monitoring for quality, cycle time, EHS compliance, and adherence to work practices.
• Identify root causes of out-of-control products and implement corrective actions.
• Manage Nonconforming Material Reports (NCMR) and drive corrective actions to minimize recurrence.
• Write/modify work instructions for existing products.
• Support transition from pilot to full-scale manufacturing through documentation, batch validation and operator training.
• Lead process engineering related Capital Projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process equipment issues.
• Coordinate with Maintenance/Production and follow Management of Change on repairs and process changes for safety.
