Job summary

ElDorado National California Inc. is hiring a Senior Process Engineer in Riverside, CA. You will establish and improve manufacturing processes to build vehicles safely, consistently, and efficiently.

This role bridges Design Engineering and Production and focuses on turning designs and BOMs into production-ready processes, especially for pilot buses. You will document lessons learned, standardize processes for future mass production, and help shift from skill-based to documentation-based

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years experience in automotive/transit bus/complex assembly manufacturing.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and BOMs; creating work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document assembly and manufacturing processes for transit buses and future models.
• Translate engineering drawings, BOMs and specifications into production processes.
• Define assembly sequences, tools, materials, fasteners, and quality checkpoints.
• Create clear work instructions with part numbers, quantities, tools, torque, and inspection points.
• Support pilot builds, document issues, and update processes based on lessons learned.
