Job summary

ElDorado National California Inc. (ENC) in Riverside, CA, seeks an Engineer I, Body to assist design, development, and analysis of heavy‑duty bus components. You’ll model with CAD, prepare detailed drawings, and support manufacturing through ECN and BOM reviews.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in engineering, 1–2 years' experience, and strong GD&T knowledge, plus data analysis and lean principles understanding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of related experience.
• CAD software experience (Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Creo or equivalent).
• Working knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes.
• Interest in R&D of heavy-duty vehicle interiors/exteriors.
• Experience with statistical techniques and data analysis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with hourly workforce.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design, development, and analysis of body components for heavy-duty vehicles.
• Use CAD to model body components and produce detailed drawings.
• Support ECN processes and BOM/specifications reviews.
• Deliver complete engineering packages for manufacturing efficiency.
• Learn lean principles as they apply to manufacturing and business processes.
• Interpret test results to validate designs and learn test requirements.
• Collaborate with team to ensure design meets customer requirements.
