Job summary

RINA North America is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead process engineering activities for a major oil product storage terminal project in Houston, TX. You will define design basis, operating philosophy, and process requirements while coordinating with multiple disciplines to deliver safe, compliant and efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience as Lead/Senior Process Engineer coordinating process activities.
• Experience in design of oil product storage terminals or similar facilities is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of liquid storage, pumping, hydraulic systems and product transfer operations.
• Experience with process simulation and hydraulic calculation software such as Aspen HYSYS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering activities for a major oil product storage terminal project.
• Define design basis, criteria, operating philosophy, cases and facility process requirements.
• Coordinate with Piping, Mechanical, Instrumentation & Control, Electrical, Civil, Layout, Fire Protection and Process Safety disciplines.
• Review calculations, specifications, datasheets, PFDs and P&IDs for quality and compliance.
• Support commissioning, pre-commissioning and start-up.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
