Job summary

RINA is seeking a Process Engineer for our Houston, TX or Chicago/Lisle, IL office in the Plant Engineering Division. The role focuses on developing process designs for an Oil Products Storage Terminal project, coordinating with multiple disciplines and supporting design through construction and startup.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and familiarity with PFDs, P&IDs, and hydraulic calculations. PE license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of process engineering experience (oil products, terminals, tank farms or energy infra).
• Experience with PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations and equipment datasheets.
• PE license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform process engineering activities for terminal project and develop/verify design deliverables.
• Develop process calculations, documents and technical deliverables.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and lead/process team to ensure design quality.
• Support construction, commissioning and startup activities.
