Job summary

RINA is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our Plant Engineering team in Houston, TX or Chicago/Lisle, IL. You will lead process engineering activities for a major oil product storage terminal project, defining process design basis, operating philosophy, and key deliverables.

As a technical leader, you will coordinate with piping, mechanical, electrical, and safety disciplines, review calculations and datasheets, and ensure safe, compliant operation throughout project execution.

Qualifications

• Master of Science (M.S.) Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 12 years of relevant Process Engineering experience.
• Lead Process Engineer with coordination responsibilities.
• Experience with oil product storage terminals or tank farms is highly desirable.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering activities and set design basis.
• Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, and design criteria.
• Coordinate with disciplines and project management.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and safety reviews.
• Support construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
