Job summary

RINA is seeking a Process Engineer for our Plant Engineering Division with a role at Houston or Chicago area offices. You will perform process design for an Oil Products Storage Terminal project, develop PFDs, P&IDs, and hydraulics, and coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure quality and safety.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in the field and a PE license is preferred. You will contribute to design development, testing, commissioning, and startup activities while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering; PE license preferred.
• 5+ years in Process Engineering for oil products storage terminals or similar.
• Experience with hydraulic calculations and process data sheets.
• Knowledge of PFDs, P&IDs and process philosophies.
• Ability to travel up to 10% and interact with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform Process Engineering activities for a major Oil Products Storage Terminal project.
• Develop process calculations, documents and technical deliverables.
• Collaborate with disciplines and project functions to ensure design quality.
• Support design cases, operating scenarios and process requirements.
• Provide input to safety reviews, startup procedures and commissioning.
