RINA seeks a seasoned Process Engineer in Houston, TX or Chicago/Lisle, IL to join the Plant Engineering Division. The role focuses on process design for an Oil Products Storage Terminal project, delivering PFDs, P&IDs, hydraulic calculations and equipment datasheets.

You will work under the Lead Process Engineer, collaborating with multiple disciplines to ensure safe, compliant and efficient designs, and you may travel up to 25% for project needs.

Formación

• Master's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in Process Engineering, preferably within oil & gas, terminals, tank farms or energy infra.
• Experience in design of oil product storage terminals, tank farms or similar facilities is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of liquid storage, pumping, hydraulic systems and product transfer operations.
• Experience with PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, equipment datasheets and process philosophies.
• Experience with process simulation and hydraulic calculation software such as Aspen HYSYS or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform Process Engineering to project requirements, design criteria and applicable codes and standards.
• Develop process calculations, documents and technical deliverables.
• Support design cases, operating scenarios and process requirements.
• Coordinate process interfaces with other disciplines to ensure design consistency.
• Provide process input and technical data to other disciplines.
• Prepare PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, equipment datasheets and process philosophies.
• Model terminal transfer and distribution hydraulics and verify design flows.
• Support construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up as required.
• Join HAZID, HAZOP and multidisciplinary design reviews as required.
• Travel up to 25% including project sites.
