Job summary

TKDA seeks a Senior Process Engineer to lead the planning, design, and execution of complex process systems for mining, minerals processing, material handling, and heavy industrial facilities in the Duluth area. You will develop process solutions to improve safety, reliability, and efficiency while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

The role drives project leadership, design reviews, and technical oversight across lifecycle phases; you will also help develop business

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, metallurgical, mining or related engineering discipline.
Experience as lead engineer on multidisciplinary industrial projects.
Strong understanding of process design, hydraulics, piping, pumps, bulk solids handling, equipment selection, and safety.
Experience with PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, and engineering specifications.
Excellent communication, leadership, and project coordination skills.
Ability to travel periodically to active facilities and project sites.

Responsibilities

Lead process engineering for mining, mineral processing, aggregate, metals, and heavy industrial projects.
Develop PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, and design criteria.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage project scope, budgets, and schedules.
Mentor junior engineers and establish design standards.
