Job summary

TKDA seeks a Senior Process Engineer to lead planning, design, and execution of complex industrial process systems for mining and heavy industry. You will guide process piping, slurry, pumping, and material handling designs, while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

The role emphasizes leadership, technical oversight, and business development activities within TKDA's Seller-Doer approach, including client engagement and proposal development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, metallurgical, mining engineering, or related field.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of process design methods, hydraulics, piping, pumping, bulk solids handling, equipment selection, and safety.
• Experience with PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, and engineering specifications.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to travel periodically to active industrial facilities and project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering efforts for mining, mineral processing, aggregate, metals, and heavy industrial projects.
• Develop project scope, budgets, schedules, and engineering work plans; coordinate with multiple disciplines.
• Support proposal development, scope definition, and fee estimates; participate in design reviews and risk assessments.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers; establish engineering standards and best practices.
• Represent TKDA in client meetings, conferences, and professional organizations.
